Obituary:

Daisy Heape Colvin

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Drinkwine Mortuary in Littleton for Daisy Heape Colvin who died Saturday morning at her daughter's home in Davis, Calif.

Mrs. Colvin, 81, was a former Castle Rock elementary school teacher. She retired in 1964 after teaching for 13 years in the Castle Rock schools and many years before that in Louviers.

Mrs. Colvin moved to Louviers in 1929. Her husband, Delbert, worked for DuPont. When he died in 1982, she went to live in Davis with their daughter, and only child, Mrs Ernest O. Brown ‏(Edra Del)‏.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Brown, two grandsons, Troy and Kurt, both of Davis; and three brothers, Chester Heape of Long Beach, Calif., Homer Heape of Murphysboro, Ill and Eugene Heape of DuQuoin, Ill.
